Day two with our Princess

I'm sorry for being behind in posting, but our little princess requires alot of attention, plus whenever her baba turns on the computer she climbs into his lap to see  her pictures and videos, its really cute.

(FYI, she just woke up, she slept 11 hours and is not crying, she used the rest room and is now back in bed with her baba (daddy) so we'll see how much I get to post.)

Day 2 with our baby

It started at 2 am, thats right!!!!  She slept with us, and laid straight as board and did not move, so she did not get much sleep.  She woke up upset and but didnt take as long to calm her.  We were not sure how she would do with a bath since they dont bathe daily here.  At first she was scared, but then she warmed up to the idea and baba gave her, her beach ball and some barbie toys and she starting having fun.

The night before was very ify.  At one pointe she was packing her clothes to leave.  did I tell you she can fold clothes, I mean really fold clothes.

Anyway, up to breakfast, she loves her little backpack bag and knows it goes with her.  (she is now playing with the little flash light = which by the way I wasnt sure we would need, yes BRING it with you, because you wont want to wake your child.) She loves her hard boiled eggs, she ate couple bites of scambled eggs and drink her yogart.

We went back to the room to get the things and gifts we would need for the registration office and notary office.  (I have also managed not to use the squatty potty, I did have to help her at the notary office, and lets just say our bond is there!!!!)

From there it was back to the hotel and then to lunch.  We've found a local restaurant that I like.  Their fried shrimp is excellent and Gracie loves it, they also have this steamed bread thing that is delicious.  As for the chop sticks, I can even feed my child with them and catch her stuff as it falls.  Its good not to have to ask for a fork. Which they dont have there anyway.

We went to a little store to get her some candy that she likes.

She had a couple of melt downs, but we are slowly getting better.  She knows she can trust her and that she will get what she needs, she lets us open her candy and food for her.  However she is very independent and wants to do most her self.  So going anywhere in a hurry is not going to happen.

I know I'm missing things, but my brain is pretty much mush.

We are getting better at walking around here, its like frogger but much worse.  Gracies loves to hold both our hands and swing.  She will up her hands if we are not doing it as quickly as she likes.

We'll need to start a college fund for this child, because she is extremely bright.  We've got video of her reciting stuff and singing.  She is starting to pick up  some English.  She can count 1 to four, but for some reason five is hard for her.

She can say PaulPaul and Brandon and uh oh really well.  She can repeat alot.  Our Chinese is not that great, however her baba is alot better than me..

I know I've missed alot I was hoping to post last night when it was all fresh.  We're trying to get her on a schedule so she does not get tired or hungry.  We put her to bed at 730 last night and we laid down with her to get her to sleep and lets just say, we never got back up.  paul woke at 3, and our little princess slept until almost 630.  So that is great.  Paul is trying his Chinese on her as we speak.  Its so cute.

Well I've got to get off the computer, our day is getting started.

Much Love from China
and I'm ready to come home.
